Make Up For Ever Boutique Haul

I went to the Make Up For Ever Boutique in New York (the only one in the United States) with fellow YouTuber Ramnari7. I went in with the intentions of only picking up their Face and Body foundation and concealer pencil, but ended up picking up a few more things.

Make Up For Ever eye shadow - 26, 52

Eye Shadow – #26, #52

Make Up For Ever eye shadow swatches - #26, #52

Top Row (with Urban Decay Primer Potion) – #26, #52

Bottom Row (without base) – #26, #52

I picked these two pink shades to complete my Make Up For Ever eye shadow palette (only available at Make Up For Ever Boutiques).

Make Up For Ever HD Concealer

HD Concealer – #340

The concealer has an interesting silicon applicator, that dispenses just the right amount of concealer to cover up those under eye circles.

I have been using this concealer for the past three days and it is hands down my favorite concealer of all time. It gave me enough coverage and moisture. The concealer did not look dry and patchy under my eyes.

This concealer is not available at Sephora. I don’t know if it will be or when. I did not even find this on the Make Up For Ever website. I’ll update everyone if I hear anything.

Make Up For Ever Concealer Pencil

Concealer Pencil

I picked up this concealer pencil to correct lip shapes and to use in the water line for smokey eyes. This pencil is safe to use in the water line and is less of a contrast than a white eye pencil when paired with a dark smokey eye.

Make Up For Ever Face and Body

Face & Body Liquid Make Up  – #32

I was looking for a lightweight liquid foundation to wear over the summer that could stand the heat. This foundation is waterproof and dries to a satin finish so I the skin looks healthy and glowing. It is a light coverage foundation so if you need a lot of coverage this is not for you. The foundation has a gel consistency. It looks as if the foundation is coagulating in the bottle. You have to shake it very well to get some of those lumps out and avoid pouring to much. The foundation is very liquid once you touch it so don’t get put off by the lumps (it’s not as gross as it sounds lol). I recommend using a synthetic foundation brush (e.g. M.A.C 190) to apply. Use a makeup sponge to get rid of any streaks. I’ve been loving it so far, but it hasn’t reached 90 degrees yet.

Hope you enjoyed the haul!

  1. I think I’m going to pick up that concealer pencil tomorrow to use on my water line. White pencil is too much for my dark skin. i also want aqua black cream shadow to use as liner. Have you tried that yet?

  2. That’s odd. I bought it today and wore it all day long. It’s awesome. I had to get the hang of it at first because I’m so used to using mac’s penultimate, but after a couple of attempts, I fell in love. The concealer pencil is too light for my complexion, but I might give aqua eyes another try. Before when I tried it, it came out patchy and I really had to press hard to see anything.

  3. This may be silly but I REALLY REALLY want to get my hands on a make up for ever palette so I found one on ebay… but my question is do they sell the pots at Sephora in THAT exact size? I’ve only ever purchased a lipstick (that I LOVE) and an eyeliner from this brand. I’m in LOVE and want to try their shadows… and I HAVE to have that palette lol! I haven’t been to Sephora in months! I gotta get there soon.
